Itinerary
8 Days Lemosho Route Luxury Climb
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your luxury lodge in Moshi.
Meet your mountain guides for a detailed climb briefing, gear check, and final preparation before your Kilimanjaro adventure begins.
Drive to Londorossi Gate for registration before continuing to the trailhead. Begin your trek through lush rainforest rich with birdlife and colobus monkeys.
Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Leave the rainforest behind and enter the stunning heath and moorland zone while ascending onto the Shira Plateau.
Enjoy panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit and surrounding wilderness.
Today’s trek is shorter, allowing your body to acclimatize gradually to the altitude. Walk across the scenic Shira Plateau with incredible mountain views.
Afternoon acclimatization hike available depending on your condition.
Hike toward Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending into the beautiful Barranco Valley filled with giant senecio plants.
This “climb high, sleep low” strategy greatly improves summit success.
Climb the famous Barranco Wall before continuing through rolling alpine terrain toward Karanga Camp.
This is one of the most scenic sections of the Lemosho Route.
Ascend gradually to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit attempt.
After an early dinner and rest, prepare your gear for the midnight summit push.
Around midnight, begin your summit attempt toward Uhuru Peak — the highest point in Africa.
Reach Stella Point at sunrise before continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Celebrate your achievement with spectacular glacier and sunrise views above the clouds.
After summit photos, descend to Barafu Camp for rest before continuing to Millennium Camp.
Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate where you will receive your summit certificates.
Transfer back to your luxury lodge in Moshi for a well-deserved shower, celebration, and overnight stay.
